Crusty Kisses.

This is Stephanie. I met Stephanie, I say met very non-literally, we've never met in real life, but her blog was one of the first blogs I stumbled upon. I say this VERY sincerely, I was automatically addicted to it because I truly believe Stephanie is one of the most beautiful girls ever and all her photos are so captivating. Now that I've got that out of the way, I suggest you sit tighter because this guest post in really entertaining, unlike Brynn's post yesterday, Stephanie has never had a ticket! I thoroughly enjoyed reading. What is your favorite photo of yourself and why? Crusty Kisses. My favorite photo of me (currently, that I have images of) is this one in front of the Brooklyn Bridge. My husband, Nick, and I went to New York this summer for a few weeks. It was amazing to finally be there after years and years of dreaming about it. Brooklyn was my absolute favorite place to be out east. We may or may not be going to graduate school there.. It was just such a whirlwind of a trip, and I’m so happy I have this image of me living my dreams.
Take us back to your very first kiss. Ew. Can I make one up? Because the first time I got kissed it was a crusty 8th grader who I only found mildly attractive because we both liked Taking Back Sunday, in a cold field, on a gray day. It was dumb.
My next first kiss was when I was 15, and my boyfriend and I had just been to our high school’s football game. I was wearing his football jersey, and we took the back way as we walked to the parking lot. Our friend, Austin, decided to run ahead of us (they had planned it) and it was just he and I walking hand in hand. He stopped me, all dramatically, and pulled me close. It was silent. I had butterflies. He pulled me closer, I could smell his breath. It was just he and I on a sparkly summer night, with no one around. He kissed me, and it was the most magical thing I’d experienced as a wee teenager. I wish that was my first kiss!

What's your most embarrassing or shameful story? When I peed my pants and started my period on the same day. In the same hour. On the same stage. While I was the lead in a school play. When had to stay afterwards to tear down the set and clean up because it was the last day of the show. So I tied someone else’s sweater around my waist in high hopes that nobody would notice the bloody mess that my pants had become. The end.
What is the coolest vacation you've ever been on, what made it so memorable? The coolest vacation I went on was my honeymoon! It was the first experience I had of traveling with my wonderful husband, and we were just head over heels in love. We traveled from Salt Lake City all the way to the Redwoods, down through San Francisco, staying in beach hotels, and ending up at Disneyland. We then drove up through Vegas, through Cedar City for another open house reception, and then back home to Salt Lake. It was awesome!
What is something you do SO WELL that you'd be able to teach it confidently? I always think that there’s room for improvement in every aspect of my life, but one thing I do really well is type. I type an average of 106 words per minute, and I know the 10-key by heart. I don’t know why I’m so good at it, I just am. But if anyone ever needed help with keyboarding.. I would definitely be your girl.
For you what is the best feeling in the world? Sitting at home, in some comfy sweats, with a blanket, perusing on Pinterest with a bowl of cereal and some chocolate chip cookies, while I watch a movie (preferably a chick flick) all by myself with nothing to do (no to-do lists, homework, etc.)!
What's one thing about you that is shocking or unexpected? I am terrified of driving. I’m the worst driver; I’ve almost hit too many pedestrians to feel comfortable behind the wheel. I get anxiety about it when I know I have to drive somewhere, and even more so when I have to have people in the car with me. BUT, despite all of that, I have never gotten a ticket. EVER.
