Or, “The Rawr Heard ‘Round the World”
In 145 days, I turn 30 years old– and I have a dream. It popped into my mind a few days ago and I just can’t shake it, so I intend to pursue it.
As a birthday present to myself– assembled with the collaborative help of dazzling friends– I’d like to collect a series of images that say:
#rawrLove
I want the images to come from all over the world, showing in the photo that they were actually taken in a myriad of different locations.
I’ll be setting up a page and linking the photos back to their source, so if you want to play, I’d love your help. Take a picture of a sheet of paper, or your hand, or whatever says #rawrLove on it– and show off that mountain range, palm tree, maple tree, or you– or whatever. The point is, something that shows I didn’t just walk around my own apartment and take a bunch of pictures. Something distinctly you.
Then just email it to my husband (grayson.queen@gmail.com) because he’s graciously opted to coordinate this effort. Or, you can tweet it, or Facebook it to us. Be sure to include your blog, if you have one!

Why #rawrLove?
It’s a somewhat-distinct hashtag so I know it sourced from here, which makes me happy. It’s like I’m planting a virtual garden.
Plus, it’s my birthday, and that phrase makes me happy.
Why this project?
I don’t have the best luck with birthdays on the day of, but I know I can celebrate the preceding days without incident– so, celebrate, I will.
