D is for Dallas.
I hesitate to blog about Dallas since I'm a Fort Worth girl but I'll go ahead.
My husband was born and raised in and around Dallas.
We love our Dallas Mavericks!
My husband is also a huge Dallas Cowboys fan.
We love going to the State Fair in Dallas {almost} every year!

It's always fun to ride the train from Ft Worth to Dallas (although we haven't done this in forever.)
Dallas has some great places to shop, including North Park and the Galleria.
There's always somewhere fun to eat in Dallas. And always something fun to do.
D/FW airport is one of the largest airports in the country. I have tons of great memories flying out of that airport, going off on another fun adventure or sending friends and family off on a fun trip.
All of our local news stations are out of Dallas. Our personal favorite is Channel 8 News, WFAA. Their news station is right outside the American Airlines Center where the Dallas Mavs and Dallas Stars play.

I have lots of fun memories in Dallas. One of my favorites is the scorching hot summer day when a cousin and I took the train to Dallas to go to the circus at the AA Center. We got there a few hours ahead of time and had no place to hang out. I decided I had to have my Starbucks so we walked several blocks in the middle of the day, sweating like pigs, to get there! It wasn't until we were on our way back that we realized there was a free trolley going up and down the street we could have used!!
There's lots and lots more to Dallas. It's a great city and a lot of fun! (Not as great as Fort Worth, but still pretty nice.) :) It's fun living in a large, busy metroplex where there's always something fun going on and always plenty to do!
