While watching this performance, all I was thinking about was how similar it is to Indian Dances. I could find glimpses of all kind of Indian Dances in this piece.
The Global Village is into its 16th year here in Dubai. Every year we make it a point to visit it at least once. It's a complete family outing with games, sightseeing, food , entertainment and shopping. For those interested in learning about various countries and cultures, this is the perfect place. It comprises of pavilions from all over the world. The Middle Eastern, Asian, African countries and Europe even. India, Pakistan, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Egypt and many many more. Every year they chose different themes from their country to decorate their pavilions. These are coming up in another post soon. Till then please enjoy this performance.
