Crusaders, we're one week into the reign of the first lady Doctor, and yes I'm going to keep coming back to this all season because it's kind of a huge deal.
Party poopers aside, the vast majority of Whovians (myself included) seem pretty pleased with the start of this next adventure, not just because the Doctor is female, but because the show seems to be headed in a really exciting new direction (with an amazing new title sequence).
Of course, even though much ado is being made about this important moment, ladies have proven their ability to lead TV shows successfully for quite a while now. Is it enough? Of course not, but it's happened.
