Day 5 Slip Up

Saturday! I was so excited for a beautiful day so I could sit outside and get some sun, but it is pretty overcast. Oh well!  Instead of being outside, I just cleaned up my apartment and am being lazy on the couch. It actually feels great, I never ever do this!

I wanted to check in and give an update on my 7 Day Slim Down. Welp, it’s kinda over… early! Oooppsie. While it was a big goal of mine to stick to it for the full 7 days, things change. I am a little disappointed I couldn’t follow it exactly the whole time. I mean it is only 7 days, why is it so hard to stick to it?! The reason I fell of the 7 Day Slim Down wagon was because I went out to dinner with some friends for sushi and clearly we had drinks. Neither of those things are on the Slim Down!

   

Dinners like this always come up so in order for me to eat well and be happy with my body, I am going to have to figure out how to incorporate social gatherings into my lifestyle. I think I did a decent job of that last night. I had edamame to start and then I had just enough sushi rolls that I was satisfied but not overly full. The thing I didn’t do great, was a drank way too much alcohol!! I had saki and then lots of beer afterwards. Regardless, I had a great night and would have been sad to have missed it because I was worried about putting on weight or getting fat.

Today, I am not following the plan exactly either but I am using it as a guideline. I had an egg with cheddar cheese and toast. Just what the doctor ordered!

I will jump back on the Slim Down train for dinner and onwards!
