Day to Day Working for Sports Team

I knew that I wanted to work in sports since college. I have worked for several different teams doing different things. My first internship was with the Iowa Cubs. (Triple A for the Chicago Cubs)

My last sports job was with the Phoenix Coyotes as a Group Sales Account Executive. I recently have accepted a new role as an Admissions Representative for Le Cordon Bleu. (No worries, still the sports wife because my hubs will always be in sports.)

Everyone usually asks me about what I do every day. Do I hang out with the players all day? (I did a job where it was my job to hangout with the players all day, and it's not fun. Some of them are like toddlers and ask you why all day.) I get to do go to the games for free and have a blast all day. I wish, but our friends get to benefit from that.

I usually get to work around 830, and start the day talking with everyone about sports from the night before. I usually have to leave the house around 710 because if I don't I will be in traffic and late for work.

For most of the day I am on the phone calling potential groups, group nights, package holders, potential package holders, single game buyers. It's my job to always be upselling people. If you have a 12 game plan I want you to be in a half season holder. I'm literally making anywhere from 80-100 calls a day.

So there you had it? My "glamorous" Life in sports.
