December Cara Box Matches
Hello Ladies!I am so excited you decided to participate in this month's Cara Box exchange (:
Things are a little different this month, so please read this entire post in order to avoid confusion!!!
This month's theme:
December Cara Box: Holiday Sparkle
The holiday season is in full swing!To celebrate, find and send items that will brighten your partner's holiday season. SPARKLES are especially in this season, so I highly recommend glitz-ing and glam-ing your boxes!!! Anything to add a little extra ::twinkle:: to their Christmas, Hanukkah, or New Years!
Very Important Rules
1// There were a number of girls who did not respond to their partner for WEEKS. YOU MUST CONTACT YOUR PARTNER WITHIN 72 HOURS OF RECEIVING YOUR MATCHES. Immediately following the 72 hour limit, any girl who has not heard from her partner must email me and will be re-matched and the girls who did not respond will be dropped from the month's swap.
2// Your box must be shipped by the 20th of the month. If you do not send it on time or do not send a box at all, you will forfeit your right to participate in future Cara Box Swaps. I found it heartbreaking that multiple women received boxes, but didn't end up sending their partners anything. This month, due to Christmas, it would be best to ship by the 15th. That is the last day USPS guarantees your package will arrive by Christmas (:
3// The person you send to will not be the person sending to you. In essence, you will get to know TWO girls every month. It is a positive thing, as you will be able to meet more ladies through the swap and will also increase the number of women you can be paired with, making it less likely that you will get "re-matched" with the same girl again. See the end of the post for details on how to find your partner in the Excel file.
4// Packages have a $15 limit
5// Make sure your box goes along with the theme. Get creative! Not everything has to be purchased. Get on Pinterest...find something awesome to make!! Include 5+ items per box. Who wants to open a box with one item?
6// Include a letter of encouragement. After getting to know the woman you are paired with and finding out about her life through her blog, make the effort to include a note of encouragement. This is not optional. It's great to get items that put a smile on your face, but kind words will last in your heart forever.
7// At the end of the month, create a blog post revealing your box and giving a shout out/link up to your match's blog. It's always nice to meet even more friends through the blogosphere. Link up to the Link Party on Wifessionals. If you don't have a personal blog, at the end of the month you will type up your post and your partner can post it up jointly with theirs on their own blog.
8// I am in no way personally responsible for anything that occurs after I send you your swap partner. I also cannot be held accountable for lost or damaged packages. Tracking numbers are HIGHLY recommended & inexpensive.

There are four tabs.
The first two list all of the US & Canadian participants. You can find their name, email & blog url.
The last two tabs have all of the US & Canadian Matches by email.
The first column is where you find YOUR EMAIL.
The second column is where you find WHO YOU ARE SENDING TO.
Take that email and find it on the list of participants page to figure out your match's name and blog url.
I put filters at the top of each column to make it easier to search and sort.
You will find your email and contact the girl to your right & will send her a box.
The girl you send to will not be the girl who will be sending to you.
If you want to know who is sending to you, find your email in the SECOND column and look to the left. That is the girl who will be making your box.
