Denim And Polka Dot

Today I headed into the city center to meet my friend Hannah for lunch at Port Of Call. I had the Top Dog which consisted of a hot dog with fries (I have it plain because I'm a basic bitch haha!) and a side of sweet potato fries. I know, double fries sounds weird but I couldn't decide between the two as they both taste so good! The food was delicious as always, the sun was shining and I had a lovely catch up with Hannah. We had such a laugh sharing our recent anecdotes. 

For my outfit (ignore the messy mirror!), I decided to mix it up a little bit and try out some clothing pieces I'd never worn together before. As it has been so warm lately and because I knew I'd be having a big meal, I wanted to wear something that was cool and comfortable to wear, so I teamed my black Zara t-shirt which is the softest t-shirt ever and my light and breezy polka dot trousers from Monki which are one of my favorite items in my wardrobe. I also wore my new necklace I bought from Marks & Spencer when I recently visited the Metro Centre with my Mam. I was drawn to the quirky design and fun colours and patterns of it. I don't usually wear a ton of jewelry but I liked the hint of color amongst the mostly monochromatic outfit.

Once I came home, I hung out with Luna in the garden and lay down on the grass enjoying the last moments of sunshine before it set. Later on Luna decided to join me in my room for a cuddle. She very rarely does this army crawl up the bed and rests her head on my stomach so she can be petted. It's so cute! I had to capture the moment <3
