Hi Y’all,
I am so waiting for Christmas holiday to start! My mommy does not work for a whole week then and I plan on spending a lot of quality time with her. I am thinking long walks, sleeping in (I do like to sleep until 9 am!!!) and eating a lot of cheese! My mommy makes this awesome beef roast in the crock-pot every year and the whole house smells like beef, so I cannot sleep at all during the night before Christmas Eve. But it’s so worth it as I get little nibbles for the whole next week. Beef is my second favorite meat – just after chicken.
Each year just before Christmas my Finnish Grandma sends me and my mommy a Christmas care-package. This year it came last Friday. I love opening packages! My mommy is quite slow getting them open, so I have to make all kinds of jumps and noises to get her to hurry up.
Finally it was open and look, this year it had my favorite snacks in it!!! Dried carrot sticks covered in dried chicken. Hear that – CHICKEN!!! I loooove chicken – almost as much as I love cheese. I just could not wait until Christmas and I used my mind-control ability to get my mommy to open the bag immediately.
The aroma from the bag made me almost faint. A little bit of drool started to formulate inside my mouth. Can I have one, please?! Pretty please, please, pleeease!!! And I did get one and it was so heavenly that I had to eat it immediately. My mommy decided to save the rest until Christmas Eve and she also said that we will open my pressie that was in the package then. What pressie??!! She was sneaky as she took it out and put it away while I was in the other room. Now I am counting the sleeps until I get to open my pressie.
I am eagerly waiting for Christmas to arrive and hope you are too!
