दिल को क्या हो गया ख़ुदा जाने, क्यों है ऐसा उदास क्या जाने।
What happened to the heart God knows,
Why so sad like this, who knows.
कह दिया मैंने हाल-ए-दिल अपना, इस को तुम जानो या ख़ुदा जाने।
I have said condition of my heart,
Now this you knows or God knows.
जानते जानते ही जानेगा, मुझमें क्या है अभी वो क्या जाने।
With the time one will know,
What is in me now, what he knows.
तुम ना पाओगे सादा दिल मुझसा, जो तघाफुल को भी हया जाने।
You will not find a simple heart like mine,
Which even to neglect,shame he knows.
