 Diwali Light

Diwali Light
Diwali is the festival of light. On this day we celebrate the return of Lord Rama to Ayodhya after an exile of fourteen years. This festival was the beginning of happiness and joy for the people of Ayodhya, we also pray that Diwali Light will bring prosperity in everybody's life. This experimental poem shows one such prayer with a message of Happy Diwali.
Happiness for all, Arrogance very small, Pride where fall, Purity stands tall, You and me with love enthrall,
Such should bring Diwali light, Removing evil, removing our plight.
Darkness goes glim, Inflation where slim, War becoming dim, Affection freely swim, Loneliness gets trim, I where in the end is coming,
Such should bring Diwali light, Removing evil, removing our plight.
