Do You Think.....

the deceased talk to us in our dreams?

{{}}
I dream a lot and usually remember it, not the whole dream, but most of it. Sometimes I dream about being in high school again, but for some reason, I look like my current self. Or I dream about vacationing or sometimes even a scary dream but I usually chalk it up to "just another dream". Then there are times that I dream about family members that have passed away. I lost my mother when I was 11 years old, my father when I was 33 years old, and my older brother is presumed deceased (missing since 1997). So because I dream so frequently about them, are they trying to tell me something?
The dream is always in a familiar setting. House where I grew up; campground where we always camped; relatives home; but again, always familiar. The dreams are always vivid and in color, or so I see them. My parents and brother look as though they did prior to them passing. Me? Sometimes I'm younger, but most of the time I'm about my age or so I'm guessing because sometimes my husband is in it or my current furbaby, vehicle, or something. But there is no death is these dreams. Its as though they never passed away. Am I dreaming about them because I miss them and want to continue a life with them in my dream because reality doesn't allow that?
Or are they really trying to tell me something? If so, I haven't quite figured it out yet. Could I just ask them in my next dream? Hmmm, I wonder? Can I make myself a mental note that the next time I dream of mom, dad, or my brother, that I'll just come out and ask them "What are you trying to tell me?" I do know that these are the most pleasant dreams I have. So peaceful and joyful, even though my childhood was not always "peachy keen". If mom, dad, and my brother are reading my blog as I'm sure they see everything I do, I hope they can be more descript and help me out a little here. Just let me know, "are you trying to tell me something?"
