That is one very wise advice that I ran into, during my ceaseless quest to discover buried informational treasures about myths and legends, that I could use for my novel. Maybe it's something in the air, maybe I've been alone for too long (The two week break-up) or maybe I have been too deeply immersed in the pages of the novel that I am currently writing, because I seem to have developed a mild obsession with fairies and mythical creatures in general. It's not just me, honestly, people are crazy about fantasy, all over the internet. For my novel I have decided upon a few varieties of fairies that I consider fascinating, the forest fairies named also dryads and the water fairies also known as undines. I plan to endow them with less beauty and more wit, because I am very tired of the same old cliche that fairies are necessarily beautiful. What do you think? Is beauty mandatory in a fairy? Because should I wrong them, their vengeance might follow me everywhere, and nobody wants to piss off the fairies :).
