Dreaming Big With Post Office

I remember so clearly the way I thought that the story of my life was going to play out when I was 5 years old.
I was going to have 2 babies, both girls. We'd live in a little pink cottage by the seaside with our 6 dogs and 4 cats, and I'd spend my days working as a teacher in a primary school whilst spending my evenings churning out best selling books and somehow also finding time to be the fourth member of Bananarama - dancing about on Top Of The Pops every Friday night!
I certainly knew how to dream big...and it seems that's something that my son has inherited!
A few weeks ago, I was given the task of interviewing Tyne, who is currently 5, for a little video all about how he imagines his future to look...and, well,  what can I say?! He is going to be one VERY busy man!
Just take a look at the video below to see the answers he gave!

How adorable is that?!
It always makes me smile when Tyne chats about all of the many things he wants to do when he grows up, he has so much natural curiosity about the world he's growing up in and you can feel his excitement at being part of it bubbling away when he talks about his future plans. His enthusiasm for life and all of the possibilities it holds for him is so infectious!
Obviously things can always change and who knows what the future holds, but he's talked so passionately about being a policeman for so many years now that I can't really imagine him growing up to be anything else! And so I've already found him some police cadet groups to join when he's a teenager...just in case he's still interested! (No pressure, of course! Whatever he chooses to do with his life is fine by me)
Because that's what parents do, isn't it? Help their little ones to dream big, plan their futures with them and then do whatever we can to help them make those dreams come true. Because we all want our children to truly live their best lives and do whatever makes them happy.
Of course, we never know what twists and turns life is going to throw at us along the way and for that reason I think it's so important to make sure that we have plans in place to ensure our sons and daughters are taken care of should anything unexpected happen. So that their future and all of those big dreams they have for it are protected, no matter what.
Post Office make this that bit easier with their easy to use life insurance calculator, which will help you to understand the level of cover you need to keep your children's future protected with just a few quick clicks.
So that you can forget about those worries and risks, and concentrate on getting those little adventurers ready to live out their dreams for real...I mean who knows?! There's still time for me to join Bananarama yet!
