As you may have figured already, I still need to brush up on my grammar, vocab, punctuation....well basically the whole sha-bang!
For me, I think it takes a lot of guts to finally admit this, I do want to pursue writing professionally but knowing that I need to work on the basics is much too embarrassing... (oh good god, I couldn't even spell 'embarrassing' on my first try).
My Editors at biG Magazine have told me to just keep reading books and pick up a few magazines; by doing so, it will help improve my writing capabilities...which I do know will benefit me in the long run.
At the moment I've got my Cosmo out (creative wise, it will help me) , Time Out, Esquire, and a couple of books on typography.
