Egg Fried Rice | How to make fried Rice - Step by Step pictures
Ingredients:
- cooked Basmathi rice or any raw rice - 2 1/2 cups ( Click here for the recipe )
- Vegetables (carrot ) - 1/4 cup, chopped , Optional
- Capsicum - 1 number , diced
- Garlic - 6pods, crushed
- spring onions - 1 bunch ,chopped
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Soy sauce - 1 tsp
- Green Chilli Sauce - 1 tbsp
- Ajina motto - 1 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1 tsp
- salt - to taste
- Red chilly - 4 numbers , slit .
- Egg - 2 numbers
Method:
Cook the rice and Set aside . Click here for the recipe .
In a large sauce pan . Heat some oil , add the whole red chilli and saute till they become brown in color . Add the crushed garlic pods and fry till the raw smell goes away .
Add the vegetables ( I used only Carrot ) and half of the chopped spring onions and stir fry them . Add salt ,Ajinamotto and stir.
Now crackle the egg and add pepper .
Mix them well . Add the diced Capsicum and stir fry them .
Now add the cooked Rice , add the soya sauce and green chilli sauce and mix all together .
Keep stirring the rice so that all the contents are mixed well . Now finally add the remaining spring onions and toss them together with the rice .
Yummy Fried rice is ready to Serve .

Notes :
- Adding the Vegetable to the fried rice is purely optional . I added carrots to this recipe to give a nice color .
- Peas and Green beans may be added too .
- The vegetables should not be over cooked . They should be crunchy .
- More eggs could also be added .
