May is here, and May = Camp. At least in Tucson, AZ it does. Summer begins earlier here than any other place in the country. I think it has something to do with children being out of school during the hottest time of the year.
May also = insane business. It’s crunch time. All the preparation for camp is happening now. All the end of the school year wrap up parties, performances and final projects are happening right now, too – for me and for my kids! Oy!
I write in my blog about being busy a lot, and I often wonder if my readers get tired of hearing it. Perhaps it is more of the mundane reading material that I could post, but when you’re right in the middle of it and you’re trying to keep your head above water, there seems like there is nothing else to write about. So, sorry, blog readers, but please deal with it, because truly – I’m feeling the weight of the world on my shoulders.
My song of the day is a beautiful tune from Michael Buble called “End of May.” I can’t wait for the end of May to come, because sometimes, once camp actually starts, things begin to settle down. Imagine that!
