Hello lovelies!I realize I have been away for a short while, I've been busy and to be honest quite overwhelmed with how busy I've been and how much I need to do in short space of time. It's that time of the year when, for retail workers like myself, it can be stressful and mentally and physically draining at times and when I've not been working I've been stressing about other things or attempting to get myself organised with my Christmas shopping. On one of my trips I treated myself in Cath Kidston to a star jumper which you featured in my last post and I fell in love with this adorable and super soft teddy, who now resides on my bedside table. I tried to originally give myself a goal of being finished with my Christmas shopping by November, Ha! My family can be the worst for not telling me early what they want, so I'm about half the way through but luckily I have a few ideas for presents now so I just need to get my ass into gear and go out and get them!
Plus I just need some days to just relax and not do much or not do something that requires a lot of thinking. I basically mean I've been playing The Sims 2 or Nintendogs when I'm feeling lazy, which recently is 98% of the time haha. But when it is cold and miserable, I don't really want to force myself to put makeup on and do my hair and take photos outside. I had a few outfit post ideas that I was going to do but tbh I haven't felt motivated or interested in doing that at all, although I have felt more interested in doing posts on other topics or on things that require no movement outside haha!
A little update for you all, I went to see John Bishop's Supersonic Tour which was really funny! I admit he didn't make my face ache as much as Russel Howard did, but it was still a great show and I'm so pleased I got to see one of my favorite comedians in the flesh!This was my 'FOTD' and 'OOTD' beforehand (Dress: Missguided). I do apologize for some recent photographs lately of myself, as I tend to look a bit miserable, I'm not haha I don't know what it is lately but I try and smile and I either have crazy eyes or an awkward smile :(Also the girls and I had a get together (outfit below) for Jess, as she has left where I work for a different job now, although I will miss my fave ginge loads, I am so pleased for her and I wish her all the best :D The rest of the girls and I planned a surprise bouquet of flowers and Frozen related goodies as a leaving present for her.
A few of us celebrated a Jess's leaving do/ Alice's 19th/ Craig's 21st birthdays with a night out which was good, particularly in one bar where they played cheesy tunes on all night, which are my fave, so I was loving life ;)Lastly my dad is currently away for 2 weeks so I'm looking forward to spending some quality mother-daughter time as I don't get to do that very often due to us both having busy schedules but there is talk of going for a lovely italian meal together this weekend and decorating the Christmas tree which I'm looking forward to.
