I don’t know what’s gotten into me. I seem to have taken a self prescribed hiatus from blogging which is something I haven’t done in the 4 years since I began this. Writing is the most cathartic process, and typically I find that I really need it. Lately however, the break from it has been a bit more attractive. Perhaps I am simply overloaded. There’s been plenty to write about with the kids away at camp and my own involvement with camp and living without kids in the house for 2 weeks, which is something that hasn’t happened in almost 11 years of my marriage. I guess taking a breather really is important. Something’s gotta give at some point after all, right?
So please know blog readers, know I am here and alive and well, and please pardon me if you see fewer blogger posts from time to time. I think writing will always be important to me, so I’m here for the long haul. – Just enjoying the silence for the moment. Hence the song of the day. Enjoy Depeche Mode enjoying the silence.
