Enjoying Life.

This week I have opened this screen to write a post so many times, but have never finished one post. It is weird how sometimes I don't write, because I have nothing to say and then sometime I can't write and I have so much to say. I have all these half completed drafts now, because the post did not go at all where I wanted it to go and the finishes pieces weren't anything that I wanted to publish. Not because they were bad or anything like that, just because they didn't feel right. I'm an advocate for only pressing publish when you can stand behind your work. I know that I don't always post deep and meaningful posts, but I post what I feel. The truth is I'm not always a deep and meaningful person.
This isn't a normal post that you see around this blog, but I'm going to post a few photos to catch up on this last week, so I can just remember them when I look back at my online journal.
Enjoy.
We have been working on this damn puzzle for the past few weeks. We finally finished it on Monday night! If it weren't for Kjerstin being there I don't know J and I would have had the motivation to get this puzzle done. Luckily Indie only tried to digest 2 pieces which I was able to finger block from going down his throat. Seriously I hooked the piece as he was trying to swallow. We have to dry them out and lay them flat to dry. Nasty. Also, I'm not wearing a bra in this photo and it's very obvious.

We decided it was time to sell our couch. We had it for 2 years and it just wasn't exactly what we wanted. We schmoozed up to a salesman at RC Willey and we got a killer deal on this couch. It is one of those sectionals that you can build, so you can make it fit however you'd like. We took out one piece, so ours is 1 seat smaller than this one. It's the comfiest couch ever. It has 2 power recliners and the past few days, I have felt like volunteering to sleep on the couch ;)

Last weekend Jared and I went to Wendover, which is on the border of Utah and Nevada. Wendover, is on the Nevada side, which means gambling is legal. Hoorah! Wendover is a tiny tiny town, it's like a square mile. We met up with a few friends and had a really fun night away from home. We had to stay in the ghetto hotel, since all of wendover was sold out, but who cares? When we first got there, Jared's twin, Josh, and his GF, Kim, came to grab some coffee from our room. Jared and I devised a plan where J hid in the curtains and I opened the door and told Josh to go look at our view. It was HILARIOUS. Jared jumped out at Josh, scared the pee out of him and Josh screamed. Not much is funnier than a 29 year old man's squeal scream from real fear. Totally worth the night in our ghetto hotel room. We didn't win any money, we actually lost about $60, bummer. Josh won $475 though, that kid is real good at craps.Enjoying life.
Also our MLS (Major League Soccer) team has been killing it. We just won the Western Regional Championship! WOOHOO, ReAl Salt Lake.

Other than that, life is good around these parts. It's been busy and awesome.
Tell me what's going on in your life, I miss all of you!
