Epic Water Gun Fights

There have been some truly epic water gun fights going on at our place this summer. While Brady and Brailey were away last week, Britt and I cleaned the barn, and he found his squirt guns. He immediately set about checking them all out to see if they worked or not - he was thrilled to discover they did! As soon as Brady and Brailey got home from Pendleton, he begged Brady to have a water war. Britt said, "The only rule is, no hoses." As you can see, this rule didn't hold.
 The battle ensued for several days in a row. I think I caught some pretty good shots on my camera. If you know me at all, then you know I despise being the target of water. I have had to work at my aversion to being splashed since Britt has been on the Swim Team. Thus, I am the Paparazzi of the family, capturing all the moments I can to preserve our memories. On Sunday, we told Brailey she had to join, since we made Britt ride his horse. She, of course, had a blast, too. As you may have noticed, there are more than squirt guns involved. There were hoses, buckets of water, water guns of all shapes and sizes, and a lot of strategy. I foresee more of these in the future, because blessed summer has just begun!
