Eraser Face Scrub Review

Posted on the 20 February 2013 by Gayatri @LifeEssence2

Eraser Face Scrub ReviewI bought this scrub long back and finished it also. It may be late but still I have to review it right? I got this Eraser Face Scrub from Urbantouch.
Price: INR 54 for 60g (50g + 10g free). The product gave 20% extra.Shelf life: 36 monthsWhat it claims:Gently removes dead skin cells and dirt.Suitable for all skin types. Our skin becomes dull and darker due to routine exposure to the sun, dust and pollution. Eraser face scrub contains fine apple and walnut powder with honey and wheat germ oil which gently removes the dead skin cells & dirt from the skin, opens the pores of skin and gives you fresh, smooth, flawless and soft skin.
Direction for use:Eraser face scrub can be used on face, neck, elbow and back. Apply a thick layer of Eraser Face Scrub on the desired area. Massage gently with wet fingertips. Wash the face with water.
Composition:Each 100ml contains:Wheat germ oil 15mg, Crab apple 20mg, Walnut(fruit) 25mg, Juglans Regia Linn(shell) 20mg, Foeniculum Vulgare Mill 10mg, Honey 10mg, Base q.s.
Experience with it:I’d like to show you their first mistake in printing. Have you checked the how to use section? They said to apply on the desired area and then asked to wash the face. Isn’t it funny. :PEraser Face Scrub ReviewNow coming to the main review, the product comes in a white plastic tube with a flip cap which is easy to carry anywhere. Price is also so affordable. The product is a thick paste and looks like what you see in the pic. I can’t explain on how it looks but I’m not satisfied by its looks anyway. When I read the ingredients, I thought does it really contain all these? Like any other walnut scrub it didn’t show any walnut particles in it. In fact I thought it contains stone particles. I don’t know about other ingredients but can definitely say that they gave incomplete list. It doesn’t smell much so if you have sensitive nose, you can tolerate it. The particles in it were in somewhat large in size and also rough on skin. So I didn’t use it on my face at all. I used it to exfoliate my remaining body skin twice a week while taking bath that too by mixing with soap. I did feel it so rough on skin and got scared to use directly. I simply took some soap foam into my palm and some scrub, mixed well and used it. This way the particles moved easily on my skin exfoliating it well. The method I used did satisfy my skin. I felt it clean but still I’m not going to repurchase it.
Eraser Face Scrub ReviewPros:·   Good packaging·   Travel friendly·   Affordable·   If used with soap, it’s a good product(my method)·   Available online·   Doesn’t smell much
Cons:·   Rough on skin·   Can’t use on face·   Doesn’t look so good·   Available online but rarely found offline
Rate: 2/5
Will I Repurchase? No. If you have closed pores and dry skin like me and want a scrub with enough particles in it, then I’ll suggest you buy some good apricot or walnut scrub.Powered by StyleCrazeGrab this widget!
