I can't say that it was rather interesting day. I did get a new cell phone and a new suit for my friend's wedding in March. The cell phone shopping was fine, but the person I got when I was getting my suit acted like he hated life, and he was very lucky that I found a suit that I liked for the right price because I was just about to walk out the door. You would think that if your career and livelihood depended on how customers perceive you, that you would in fact attempt to act and look pleasant instead of appearing quite miserable. Perhaps it comes from living in the middle of nowhere in the U.S. Midwest. I was thinking of writing but then I...umm...I can't even remember what I ended up doing instead. Oh well. For the Oscar nominations tonight we have Best Achievement in Makeup & Hairstyling: Hitchcock, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Adventure, and Les Miserables. Well, I do not really understand why there are only three nominations for this category as I am certain there were more than enough films that adequately fit the description. Obviously I am going to go for The Hobbit for all of the obvious reasons, although I have a feeling that Les Miserables will win it. That's the end of a boorish day, but as the week dies down and Monday of next week approaches the tension begins to mount as I grow closer to when I begin my new job. I'm actually starting to get rather excited about the whole thing. We shall see how quickly I take to it. Have an excellent night.
