Oh my little Ethan, you've become such a social butterfly. You are full of confidence and have no problem approaching any one at all. Your eyes light up when you see other children and all you want to do is play with them. You get so excited by people and have come on miles compared to when you went through a phase of not wanting to leave mine or your Daddy's side. You're always full of smiles for everyone and are always up at the front when it comes to activities. You get so excited every week when we take you to your Grandma and Grandpops for your weekly overnight stay. You love seeing your family both on your Daddys side and on mine, you feel so relaxed and are always happy to see them. We've had a bit of another new chapter in your life in that you've just started going to nursery two mornings a week - you seem to really love it and are SO excited to be around other children!
We're SO excited to finally be able to say that your speech is really coming on now! You were there with it anyway, but nursery seems to have given you that final push with it! Your try and repeat absolutely everything that we ask you to say, it's amazing! You can say so many words now and you have different little names for different things, like you call yourself 'E E' which I think is so adorable! You're favorite dinner is pasta and you call that 'Pa-pa', you know all of the cats names and call Charlie 'Char' or 'Char char' and you even try and say Logans name. There's loads and loads of words that you can even say clearly now, your favourites being 'chocolate' and 'Peppa', I wonder why haha! Today you even sat there passing me washing from the washing basket to hang whilst naming the names of who each piece of clothing belonged to!
We're so proud of you little man - you've really hit an age where you are becoming much more of your own little person, you're confidence astounds me the most! You've taken to being a big brother so so well, you're always really caring towards baby Logan and you'll often stroke his head and check on him. Sometimes I look at you with your speech and with all your confidence, I'll watch you playing with other children, no longer needing to hold your Mummys hand and then I'll look at Logan and I remember you being that small and looking the way he looks. Sometimes I'll start to miss you at that age and I'll worry that you're growing too fast and then I'll get scared of having to let you go more and more. But then I stop myself, because I know that you're only two - I know that we've got so many more years together and so many more memories to make. With everyday that goes on by, you are growing older, but no matter if you're two, ten, twenty, forty - no matter how old you are, you'll always be my baby! I love you to the moon and back my pudding little. Love now and always, Mummy xxxxx
