If you have no idea what I'm talking about then I'm speaking about the Blog Every Day in May Challenge.
The story of your life in 250 words or less.
I'm Kayla. I grew up in a small town in Mississippi, where I still live. I was blessed with a wonderful family, and the best group of friends ever. In fact, I still have those same friends 29 years later. I bought my house all by myself at the age of 24 and it was one of the proudest moments of my life. I am engaged to the most wonderfully thoughtful man and we are getting married in October of this year. I live each day to the best of my abilities and lean on God to get me through it all.
Two. Educate us on something you know a lot about or are good at.
I'm a yard sale queen. Like really. Come get in my car on a Saturday morning and I'll change your world. (And your wallet will thank me!) You need to see proof? Go check out my IG for a pic... but I got a Coach purse (yes a real one) for.....................
t.e.n....d.o.l.l.a.r.s.......yesssssssssssssssssssss!
Three. Things that make you uncomfortable.
Honestly, not much except being the center of attention. Am I freaking out about this in the wedding day sense, a little. I can't think about this one long. Moving on...
I also don't like people who stay on their phones while I'm trying to tell them something. And they keep giving the "uh huh" during it. Let's face it.. they haven't heard a word I said. And I don't like it.
And I don't like talking about drama. Really... God frowns on it.
Four. Favorite quote.
Life can only be understood backwards, but it has to be lived forwards.
Five. Publicly profess your love for a blog friend.
I'm going to tell ya'll about a sweet new friend I've found recently.
She and I text for quite awhile the other day and I just can't wait to see her wedding dreams and ideas come to life. Happy planning, pretty girl!
Six. If you couldn't answer with your job, how would you answer "What do you do?"
Okay, I'm going to be completely honest. I stress. Like A LOT these days. I run a house for me and my two dogs. I make sure the bills are paid. I make sure them babies are fed. I keep the laundry clean and the house decent. I plan a wedding and help keep this blog world a dream alive.
I attend nephews' games, I text with my BFF's, I read lovely blogs, I try my hand at DIY. I even attempt a recipe here and there.
I'm crazy. Which is why I end up doing this on Friday nights when we go for our normal Friday Lowe's dates...
Maybe I didn't just lose all my followers....
Happy Monday!
