My Mom is the most elegant woman. She has more style than anyone I know. It’s like everything she touches oozes with class, and I love just being around her.
Last night was the Jewish holiday, Passover, which is a ton of work. For my non-Jewish readers, Thanksgiving has nothing on Passover. In addition to a huge festive meal, there is also all of the ritual food, too. Passover a is holiday where you end up using every dish and every piece of silverware in your house, and it takes days to prepare even with friends and family bringing their “assignments” of side dishes.
No one can pull off this holiday like my mother can. Just look at her table.
Every dish, each floral arrangement, each piece of linen is placed with care and grace. It amazes me every time I walk inside my parent’s home for any meal anytime of the year, but Passover is like the Superbowl of holidays. It’s like a breath of fresh air.
My song of the day is “Everything Little Thing She Does is Magic” by the Police. Click HERE to go to Youtube to hear the song. I chose this song today, because the lyrics are true. My Mom fills her home with magic, and it’s beauty is intoxicating.
Way to go, Mama, on being the hostess with the mostess. I can only strive to be like you. You are amazing, and I know everyone who reads this blog today and knows you, will agree. You are the best!
