I am primarily a wedding Photographer, but Family Photography and capturing key moments within young families is something of a natural progression.
Once you have captured many couples weddings, they often invite you back to capture, their newborn children, their baptisms or birthdays.
Mark and Jo had come across my work earlier in the year and had wanted me to record their twins christening service and family get together afterwards in Purbecks.
Appreciating my documentary style and the way I captured the day, it was lovely to be invited this time up to Richmond to capture Evie & Tom’s 1st birthday photography.
It was a miserable rainy day for a long drive, but a warm family welcome greeted me on arrival. The twins were on fine form, with Evie being especially attentive to the camera and photo opportunities.
I’m looking forward to the next time whenever it may be, and capturing these lovely characters – recording their formative years.
