F is for Forgiveness.
The forgiveness of our Saviour is the most wonderful forgiveness of all.
I've also learned to forgive others a little more easily as I've gotten older. I used to hold grudges like none other but I've learned that no one is perfect, we're all sinners and a lot of those silly grudges I've held in the past were probably about similar things that I've done myself. Have I treated others unfairly? Yes. Have I gossiped about others? Yes. Have I acted like a snob? Yes. Have I reacted badly in situations? Yes. And on and on and on. Holding unto something is silly. It's much more freeing to forgive, forget and move on. And if someone has wronged you simply use it as a lesson in life to grow stronger and become a better person for it and never treat anyone the way you were treated.
G is for Grateful.
Again I'm most grateful for God and my Salvation.
I'm also grateful for my wonderful husband, my beautiful children, my sweet parents, my siblings, extended family and many, many friends. I'm grateful for our wonderful country and the every day things we all take for granted... plenty of food, water and electricity 24 hours a day, plenty of clothing, A/C in the summer, heat in the winter, transportation, the overall freedom and safety to go out in public alone. Access to medical care at a moments notice and so much more. We are very blessed.
