What have I been up to?
Not a lot. For $2.99 I bought iCollage. (See below)
Oddly Frametastic - a free phone app - is much more flexible and fun, except you have to take the photos with your phone unless you want to email them to yourself. Too complicated.
Simple pumpkins are best. Here on the left hand side of door in Soho
and on the right.
Random thoughts:
1. I'm reading Edith Wharton's The Age of Innocence and watching Mad Men and am struck by the similarities - both wonderfully stylish, stylized, polished and utterly of their period. Very New York.
2. How long should a book be?
Is it wonderful for a book to be like War & Peace and last for ever and ever?
Or is it better for the novelist to be polite and brief and leave you wanting more?
Is it hubris to write a long long book and expect people to read it?
Or maybe you only want a little audience anyway.
And the weather has turned chilly.
