I think he was looking for the boardwalk. It was freezing out, like icicles stabbing at my cheeks freezing - much like the icy pain I experience when I jump into the ocean here in June instead of waiting patiently for warmer waters in July.
Then the sun made a brief appearance and then a quick departure. The colors the sun created, if only for a brief moment were awesome.
