Photo FASHION DESIGNERS BIBLE
Ive recently been splashing out on design and creation books, for inspiration and practical help when putting together a collection.
My latest puchase: “Fashion Designers Sketchbooks” is my new bible, seriously this is an awsome book if you are a budding designer.
Each page is dedicated to a designer in industry and includes some of the greats such as Karl Lagerfeld & John Galliano, giving you a sneaky look into there sketchbooks, portfolios & talking you through each designers individual design process. The book highlights that all fashion designers work differently and that there really is no right or wrong way to work. I have even been impressed to discover that I can draw better than some of the designers featured; so there’s hope for us all!
Each page is full of magical images from behind the minds of some of the greatest creators in history, and even of lesser known brands which have a fantastic array of work.
To see my own illustrations, why not checkout my website? Tho i definitely have food for thought and will be getting on with many more design projects for my portfolio.
Look out for some of my faves in my next few blogs. xoxo LLM
