Fashion Star... First Impression

The new NBC Show Fashion Star premiered tonight. It was an hour and a half long, but went by quickly. It was like watching your friends try on clothes. You were looking at the designers' pieces to see if you'd like them for yourself. While I didn't love everything, I did find myself obsessing over the zip-off skirt! My favorite part was hearing Nicole Richie's and Jessica Simpson's side comments; it reminded me of their silly personalities on The Newly Weds  and The Simple Life. 
The show does a one or two minute bit on the designer's back story in an effort to get to know them. Some have too much personality, and others not enough. 
The judges get to save one person out of the three ranked lowest by the buyers from H&M, Macy's, and Saks. 
The buyers also get to bid for certain designer's pieces. Here are the winning pieces that are now available for purchase.
