Fight off the Easter Boredom Blues

When the weather is looking gloomy, staying inside the house over the Easter holidays can seem like you’re stuck in a dungeon.
Luckily the Easter Holiday Boredom Conqueror guide released by Homecrafts.co.uk is here to save the day and has some fabulous Easter holiday activity ideas for rainy days.
I love the Easter bonnets, which can so easily be decorated and personalised with real flowers, ribbon, stickers or anything else you can find lying around the house.
Also, you can make Easter chicks with some paint, googly eyes and Styrofoam or a giant string egg with a balloon, some PVA and basic string.
There’s a whole host of ideas for your kids to get their bunny teeth into.  Older kids can sometimes be more of a challenge to entertain, but there’s something for them, too.
Creating Batik Eggs involves melting wax onto the surface of a hen’s egg before dipping it into dye for a beautiful effect. The Quilling on eggs also presents a more challenging way to decorate eggs with wonderful effect. And why not create an Easter themed piñata for when the sun gets that little bit warmer? It’s much cheaper and easier than you would imagine. Simply mix PVA glue with water and use that to mold tissue paper around a balloon, so you have a papier-mâché egg. Leave a small opening at the top of the balloon, and when the paper has dried, pop the balloon and then fill it with some treats.
Whatever you decide to do, get creative this Easter!
You can create long-lasting memories and have fun all at the same time.
