I find decorating mantles difficult. Here was the latest set-up. I threw a couple of thrift store finds up there along with 2 geode candle votives. I know it doesn’t look right. I’d love to do a series of pictures, but I’m not a fan of nailing into our 1920′s plaster walls.
After pinning and houzz-ing many I decided I needed a clean, bold look. And with a 40% off coupon to Hobby Lobby I’m happy with the mirror. BIG improvement. Now, where can I go about finding firewood in the middle of the Georgia summer?!
