First Day Of Fall Pumpkin Cookies

Sorry for the long wait, I was taking a homework break.               My mom makes these every year around Halloween and I love them! They are called pumpkin cookies. They are moist (I hate that word), and soft and UH-MAZING. :)
             INGREDIENTS
        ~ 1 cup of butter
        ~ 1 cup of sugar
~ 1 cup of canned pumpkin
        ~ 1 egg
        ~ 1 teaspoons of vanilla
        ~ 2 cups of flour
        ~ 1 teaspoons baking powder
~ 1/2 teaspoons of baking soda
        ~ 1/2 teaspoons of salt
        ~ 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
        ~ 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
MY PROCESS WITH PICTURES
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

I used the last stick of butter with my last cooking experiment that involved butter and so I had to actually 'knife it out' and into a 1 cup.

I softened mine a little

Next, add the 1 cup of sugar into the bowl

Open your can of pumpkin
and take 1 cup's worth, pour it into the mix

Then crack one egg into the bowl

Next add one teaspoon of vanilla

Add the 2  cups of flour

Then your 1 teaspoon of baking powder

Now your 1/2 teaspoon of baking SODA and saltbaking sodasaltFor 'fall' taste, add  your 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

And 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg

Stir all together

Spoon onto a greased cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes

and then VIOLA! Pumpkin Cookies for the first day of Autumn!

YUM!!!
