I love Jesus, my high school sweetheart, my twobabies, encouraging women through my blog, and helping others feel beautifulwhen wearing my handmade accessories.Whyand how did you start blogging? I started blogging over 4 years ago to chronicle myfirst pregnancy. My main focus now is to encourage women as they learn toembrace their sense of self-worth. I also throw in lessons in motherhood, andcrafty/confectionary posts for the visually intrigued. My blog has had a slowgrowth process. I have had to try lots of things and just be very patient withit.Yourshop is full of such Awesome stuff, what is your favorite thing to make?Oh, thank you! I enjoy making headbands; much of thetime I only make one of each kind.Wheredo you see yourself, your shop, your blog in 5 years? In 5 years we will have had all of our babies(probably just one more), I will have been married nearly 14 years, the shopwill be excelling (opening brick/mortar in March), and the blog making someincome.ILOVE your children's names, how did you come up with such unique names? My son's name is Wilder Raine Dunning Harris. Wildercomes from Laura Ingalls Wilder, one of my favorite authors. Raine comes fromloving the rain & the refreshment it brings, & as props to my babysister who got married the same day one of the worst floods hit SE Kansas.Dunning is my maiden name. My daughter's name is Story Elena Harris. I ranacross the name Story in a baby name book early in the pregnancy. I didn't findout the gender of the baby, but all along I was desperate for a girl namedStory. The name Story is special because I a) like to write stories and b) am apeople person who considers it an HONOR to learn people's life stories. Wilderis outgoing as well so it's to honor him. The name Elena is my best friend'smiddle name. We have been close for 11 years.Sinceit is Valentines' month, what is the one thing you admire most about yourhusband? His patience with me and the children. And he'ssuper hilarious and has an inspiring imagination.Fromyour experience, what do you think is the key to any successful marriage? Respect. If you don't respect each other, then thecare towards that person just wanes.
