First off, you have to have the basic. Now I'm not talking like shoes, cute clothes, gym membership. I'm talking about easy apps you can download. Personally, I LOVE my fitness pal. It calculates all your workouts and your meals. What is awesome about this is that you can add friends as well. Best description is the facebook but for working out. The next thing I think is important, at least for me, is having a workout planner. Mine is pretty simple. I got it at Target in the $1 aisle. At the beginning of the month, I sat down and wrote down my target area. I came up with: Cardio, total body, back, arms, and legs. During the first part of the month, I had a Hot Yoga membership as well. So I tied that in with it. (Expect a post soon.)
Each day was a different zone. For example,
Monday:Cardio Tuesday: Whole Body Wednesday: Back Thursday: Arms Friday: Legs Saturday: Cardio or Rest Sunday: Cardio or Rest I will follow this plan for the next 6-8 weeks than re-evaluate my workout schedule. So far I haven't been the best at working out consistently. I try and do little things throughout the day. For example, while doing laundry I do wall sits. Or if I'm walking room to room then I "lunge" from room to room. Anything to keep working. Hope these help!!
