ITS FRIDAY..YYAYAYAYAY
…. and it’s FLOW!!
Yesterday was a busy day for me and I still managed to get all my workouts in!
I started my day with some Arms, Abs and Cardio as part of the LiveFit Trainer. For my cardio I ran on the treadmill for 30 minutes at 6.8mph for a total of 3.4 miles.
After work I had a double header soccer game for the indoor league I play in on Thursday nights. We had a double header starting at 9pm. In this league there has to be 2 girls on the field at all times and we only had 2 girls show up – me and Andrea. So, the two of us literally played soccer for 2 hours straight with a couple short breaks for halftime and between games.! I was exhausted by the end, but it was a ton of fun!
For some reason, when playing with a bunch of men, I become a human target. I literally got hit with the ball so many times last night. Today I am covered in bruises all over my body; I am polka-dotted!
I managed to continue to play for the rest of the night, at about 70%. We got home around 11:30pm, I had a quick bowl of cottage cheese with sugar-free jelly and jumped into bed. I slept like a baby!
Even though I got home wicked late last night I still managed to get up before my alarm this morning and sneak in a workout before work. I did a shoulder workout and 30 minutes of light cardio on the elliptical. It felt good, but I was tired in the middle and had to take a break for some h20 and some sugar to refeul. [My gym has tootsie rolls at the front desk]
To keep track of my workouts and my diet I have been using my FitBook. I decided to use this instead of printing off the sheet provided in the LiveFit Trainer because it is more convenient and everything is all in one place. I can keep track of workouts, the weight I use, how I feel and how long it took. The same goes for nutrition. I can track my meals, add notes, how much water I drank and how many nutrients I am getting.
It’s a pretty handy little book!
I have been trying to be very diligent about recording my food and also keeping track of my workouts. It’s great to have all my workouts in one place because if I can’t remember what weight I used the previous week, I can just flip back and check it out.
To fuel my busy schedule I have me loving my Luna Bars lately. My local Target sells them for less than a dollar , so I stocked up the other day and couldn’t be happier with my decision. They are the perfect fuel for pre or post workout.
The Peanut Honey Pretzel is especially delicious. I caught myself mmmm-ing while eating it.
