The Questions
1) Describe yourself in 5 words
Sarcastic, friendly, self-critical, introvert, girly.
2) Why did you decide to start blogging?
I have always LOVED to write and I thought blogging would be a great way to keep in practice with regular writing and may even encourage me to take it more seriously
3) How did you choose the name of your blog and why?
I always found blogs with snappy names that describe the content the most appealing to me so I wanted to go for something like that - I like the idea of getting across the contrast between the glamour of beauty blogging and the ups & downs of pregnancy in my blog title - and so Sparkles & Stretchmarks seemed appropriate!
4) Tell us something about yourself that you think might surprise us!
I'm really really low on self confidence and I hate seeing photos of myself...probably a bit weird for someone who blogs and takes photos regularly!
5) What is your favorite and least favorite thing about blogging?
My favorite thing is reading comments ( I LOVE comments!) and interacting with new people...I also love working with brands and having the opportunity to try new products that I otherwise might not have discovered.
My least favorite thing is probably the competitiveness there can be between bloggers for rankings etc and how cloak & dagger it can be with keeping opportunities quiet etc, although I do think this is changing and people are starting to work together more.
I also hate how much pressure I put on myself to get things done.
