Five bad habits (I’d like to get rid of) that I’ve acquired since becoming a mother;
1. Being a mummy garbage bin. If Dora doesn’t like something I cook for her, I can’t bare to throw it away so I eat it. This is not helping me lose my post baby weight.
2. Washing Dora’s clothes first. She seems to go through so many clothes. I always put her washing on first and find that I run out of things to wear mid week because I haven’t gotten around to washing our clothes.
3. Not exercising enough. Even though I go to the gym twice a week, I don’t get out enough for walks with Dora. I’d like to start the Couch to 5K challenge if anyone wants to join me.
4. Leaving the house looking disheveled. I’d like to take more care in the way I dress when I leave the house. Part of the problem is my weight gain so I have ill fitting clothes. I refuse to buy the next size up.
5. Not taking time for my husband and I. We haven’t been out together without Dora since she was born. We still have a wonderful time doing family things together but I need to plan a night out for us.
These aren’t terrible things but they’re things I’d like to work on in the next six months.
