Do you believe in baby brain? I don’t think I have lost baby brain since having Dora. Now it’s back in full force.
I once thought I had lost my wallet. I had not recalled seeing it over the weekend and I hadn’t really needed it because we’d had a quiet one. It was Wednesday after a day’s work when I thought I’d grab some groceries that I realised that it was missing. Usually it’s buried somewhere in the abyss of my handbag. Not this time. Luckily, I realised before I had a trolley full of groceries and got back in the car to go home and look for it. I went to work again the next day. I was hot and I’d have loved to buy a cool drink but still, no wallet.
Friday morning, I was taking Dora somewhere. Getting her into the car, I put the keys on the roof above her door… I looked up, and there it was. It had been there for a week, traveling all about and being left in busy carparks. I had been ready to start cancelling cards but I always have a feeling things will show up. Luckily this time, it did!
