Pre-parenthood you would not believe it if someone told you about the things that will later excite you as a parent. This week, Dora decided that bathing was back in vogue. She even asked for a bath last night. She may be splashing water ALL over the bathroom but I am just so happy after the bath time screaming matches we have had since the start of July.
Here’s all things we tried to coax her with until she made her own mind up:
* bath crayons
* a new pirate ship toy that squirts water
* bath flutes
* a bubble gun
* bath goo
* bathing with a parent
* showing
* wearing swimmers and floaties in the bath
* inviting plastic toys to bathe
Eventually she decided on her own when it was time to get back in to the bubbly water without tears.
