I mentioned in a previous post that our family have been using an online Christmas wishlist website for a few years now. Since we started using it, many more fandangled apps and sites have popped up, but I love the ease of using this site, even the grandparents can use it. To make things easy, I set it up for both sides of the family, sent out passwords and assigned family members to ‘our group’. Once set up, you can add your wishes, view other’s lists, reserve gifts you want to buy for someone (so no-one else does) and mark list items as purchased. You can’t see whether people have bought your gifts, otherwise it would spoil the surprise.
You can view the list when you’re out shopping on a smart phone/device and modify your list when ever you want.
The site has made Christmas shopping much easier for us and ensures that our family gets a gift that they actually want or need. We even update it throughout the year for birthdays (especially for the kids).

So, what’s on my list this year?
The top three items are:
A pie maker – my friend swears that they are fantastic, especially in Winter for making pies with leftovers.
A voucher for a massage or pedicure – I can barely reach my toes to put on my shoes at the moment, let alone to apply nail polish.
Havaianas – Ah, they just are so comfy.
