Today I am half way through my second pregnancy. I spent much of the first 4 months being sick which wasn’t pleasant. Thankfully the sickness has passed and I can focus on enjoying the rest of my pregnancy journey. Last week, we had an ultrasound. We were too excited not to find out the answer to the big question: Is it a girl or boy?
I actually didn’t have much of a ‘feeling’ either way about the sex of this baby. I thought that because I had been sick, which I hadn’t been with Dora (well, not to the same extent), that perhaps it could be a boy… but I constantly changed my mind.
So, when the sonographer asked ‘Would you like to find out the baby’s sex today?’ we didn’t hesitate to say ‘Yes please.’

She smiled, and pointed to the screen. “See those lines there? They mean it’s a girl.”
Ahhh! How wonderful. I teared up thinking of how lovely it will be for Dora to have a little sister and for our little family. Hubby had felt it was a girl all along and may have had something in his eye too, a tear perhaps
I hope you’ve had a great week.
This was our most viewed post last week from A Kitchen Hoor.
The flavours in this recipe are favourites of mine. I will definitely be trying this recipe. Thanks for sharing it.
