My weeks seem to pass so much faster now that I am back working two days a week. I get the Sunday night blues knowing that I face work Monday and Tuesday. Fortunately, it goes quickly and it’s quite enjoyable once I’m there.
My work days went by smoothly. On Tuesday, Hubby stayed home with a sick Dora and cooked an amazing dinner of slow cooked pork ribs, corn and mash. It was a lovely treat and so delicious.
By Wednesday, with the rush of the previous two days, the house was a shamozzle and the washing had piled up. On Wednesdays, Dora and I usually stay indoors while I try and catch up on the house work (which I never seem to be able to do). This week was no different.
We caught up with Nanny this Thursday which Dora always loves. Nanny spoiled her with treats and home cooked sausage rolls and spoiled me by cooking me dinner to take home as hubby had a work function on.
We’ll see what today brings but there’s a buzz of excitement knowing that the weekend is almost here!
