Also known as Poppy Day, Armistice Day or Veterans Day, Remembrance Day is a day when the Commonwealth countries pause to remember all those who have fallen in the line of duty since World War I. The poppy became the symbol of the day, this delicate flower filling the fields of the fallen in many parts of the front line in Europe. We present the image above as a reminder of the sacrifice made by many who fought, whether they won or lost, in hope of a better future.
