Alice Walker, a prolific writer if ever I read one, has a poem I never found until today. It was written some time before 1990 which tells me she didn't follow the declaration she boldly gave to Poetry.
Thank goodness for the rest of us. It is something to think about, though, when we may have the desire to make such a declaration to any task that we believe once called us.
Quote: "I said to poetry, 'I'm finished with you." Alice Walker

Is there something you quit that you want to begin again? What's stopping you?
Prompt: I thought was finished with _____, but I wasn't..........
