I studied Performing Arts in college for a while, and I used to teach a childrens theater group so I have always had an interest in theater and have always loved seeing plays and musicals live.
But I didn't actually go to see a West End show until a few years ago, a good friend of mine bought tickets for us to see Les Miserables live - I was completely blown away by it!Seriously, if you ever have the chance to see it live you have to take it!
I enjoyed the recent movie version but nothing compares to the live experience.
Since then I have seen Andrew Lloy'd Webbers "Love Never Dies" (which I didn't like much) and The Woman In Black in the west end (Which was AMAZING!) - I would love to see many more in the future!
There are many different kinds of shows I'd love the chance to see - from ballets such as Swan Lake, and operas such as Madam Butterfly - Here is my top 5!
1. Wicked
2. Oliver
3. Phantom Of The Opera
4. War Horse
5. Rock of Ages
Have you seen any of these shows? Which would you recommend? As always, I'd love to hear from you!
