Ro is the mother, Chrissie the daughter.
Last night, as we were involved in our light, intense and crazy conversations, having finished our daily Jeopardy, watching American Football, both ladies literally stormed into our living room. A storm is nothing to welcome, but they were determined to find out why we were congregated as we were, while wanting to share a cigar, and we simply could not say no to such friendly, happy couple of ladies.
Intimidation is a word I have heard often from individuals that look into the lounge from the sidewalk and perceive a small and diverse group of men that appear so content in their living room that any stranger might be too strange for both sides. However, each time I heard the word from a stranger in this context, it came in a conversation after he/she recounted the first impression, but happy to have come in. Ro reinstated this – so did we.
